Non-destructive wall thickness measurement for bottles, containers and other non-magnetic parts. Hall-effect (magnetic) gauging with a steel target ball: no cutting, no couplant, and the shape of the part does not affect the reading.

A steel target ball is placed on one side of the wall and a magnetic probe on the other. The Hall sensor in the probe reads the distance to the ball, and the gauge shows it as wall thickness.
Non-magnetic materials such as plastics, glass, composites, aluminium and titanium. Steel cannot be measured with this method.
6.350 mm with the standard target balls, and up to 25.4 mm with the optional 5.00 mm and 7.00 mm balls.
